KYRRA 100% natural and organic essential oil and felted Faroese wool ball

Add a few drops of your favourite oil to our wool dryer balls for a light scent in your laundry. You can also place them among your favourite clothes as a natural moth repellent.

Lavender and cedarwood essential oils are both known for their moth-repelling properties.

Lavender contains aromatic compounds such as linalool and linalyl acetate. These strong natural scents interfere with moths’ ability to detect suitable places to lay eggs and find food, so moths tend to avoid areas where lavender is present.

Cedarwood contains natural oils rich in cedrol and related sesquiterpenes. These compounds are especially effective against clothes moths because they disrupt their pheromone signals and can inhibit larvae development, making treated areas unsuitable for infestation.

When used on felted wool balls, the porous wool absorbs and slowly releases these essential oils, providing a long-lasting, gentle scent that naturally deters moths without the use of synthetic chemicals.
